All Equinox^&reg; models feature a smooth-shifting 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive and electronic range select.

Always know your tires are properly inflated with the Tire Pressure Monitoring System. A warning light is triggered on your dash when tire pressure falls below the recommended amount. The actual pressure of each tire can also be viewed in the standard Driver Information Center. This system does not monitor the spare tire.

Activating the rear-window defogger also activates the mirrors' heating elements, making it easier to brush and clear your mirrors of snow or ice and reducing the need to readjust your mirrors afterward. (When the mirrors do require adjustments,&nbsp;handy power controls on the driver's door make the&nbsp;chore fast and easy.)
