2025 Hyundai Elantra SEL Convenience
**Responsible Has No Business Looking This Good.**
Let's be honest.
The words **fuel-efficient sedan** don't normally get your heart racing.
Then Hyundai painted this one **Intense Blue**, gave it a **power moonroof**, added **17-inch alloy wheels**, loaded the cabin with technology and somehow managed to squeeze out an EPA-estimated **39 MPG highway**.
Suddenly, being responsible doesn't seem so bad.
This **2025 Hyundai Elantra SEL Convenience** is the kind of car that makes sense on a spreadsheetand still looks good sitting in your driveway.
That's a pretty strong combination.
## **First Things First: 39 MPG Highway**
Gas isn't getting any more entertaining to buy.
So buying less of it seems like a pretty good plan.
The Elantra's efficient 4-cylinder engine is paired with a smooth **CVT automatic transmission** and front-wheel drive, delivering an EPA-estimated:
### **30 MPG City / 39 MPG Highway**
That's the kind of fuel economy commuters love.
Uvalde to San Antonio?
Road trip across Texas?
Daily drive to work?
This Elantra is perfectly happy stretching a tank of gas considerably farther than a full-size SUV or pickup.
Your truck-driving friends may tease you.
**Wave at them when they're at the gas station.**
## **Intense Blue Was the Right Choice**
There are colors called blue.
And then there's **Intense Blue**.
It's bright enough to stand out without looking ridiculous, and combined with the Elantra's sharp body lines and **17-inch alloy wheels**, it gives this sedan a genuinely sporty appearance.
The Elantra doesn't look like Hyundai designed an economy car and then tried to make it interesting.
It looks like they designed an interesting car that just happens to get excellent fuel economy.
Big difference.
## **The Convenience Package Is Where This Gets Good**
This isn't some stripped-down commuter special.
The **SEL Convenience** trim gives you features normally associated with much more expensive vehicles.
### **Inside You'll Find:**
* **Power Moonroof**
* **Heated Front Seats**
* **Navigation System**
* **Dual-Zone Automatic Climate Control**
* **Apple CarPlay®**
* **Android Auto **
* **Leather-Wrapped Steering Wheel**
* **Leather Shift Knob**
* **Premium Cloth Seating**
* **SiriusXM®**
* **Hyundai Bluelink+**
* **Steering-Wheel Audio Controls**
That changes the conversation.
This isn't simply transportation.
**It's actually a nice place to spend time.**
## **The Great Texas Seat Debate Has Been Solved**
You want the A/C colder.
Your passenger apparently grew up on the surface of the sun and thinks 76 degrees is perfectly comfortable.
Normally, negotiations begin.
Not here.
The **dual-zone automatic climate control** lets both sides choose their own temperature.
Peace has been restored.
Diplomacy works.
## **And Yes, It Has Heated Seats**
We know.
South Texas.
Heated seats.
Sounds unnecessaryuntil that first 38-degree January morning arrives and suddenly they're the greatest invention since Whataburger.
They're also surprisingly nice after a long day.
Add the power moonroof when the weather is perfect and this Elantra becomes a very enjoyable little road-trip car.
## **Technology Without the Learning Curve**
The Elantra gives you the technology people actually use:
**Apple CarPlay® & Android Auto ** keep your compatible phone integrated with the infotainment system.
**Built-in Navigation** helps get you where you're going.
**Bluelink+** adds Hyundai connected functionality.
And the rear camera makes backing into tight s

SEL with Convenance Pkg Adds Safety
By Adirondack Jack | on 2/27/2026 9:51:54 PM
From the Northern Adirondacks . From the comfort of the seats, to the easy to use technology that's at the driver's fingertips you get a lot of standard features for the price. Fuel economy is 41+mpg in the warmer months, high 30's in winter & 4 studded snow tires on steel rims make winter driving less challenging along with a 50lb bag of concrete mix in the truck near each rear wheel well as the car is lighter than the sedans we had previously, Sonata, Altima, Camry, Accord. Thankfully we have a AWD crossover for real wintery days to VT & the Canadian border for medical appts. Unless you want leather seats, the SEL w/ Convenance Pkg will include heated front seats, intelligent cruise control, lane keeping assist, blind spot protection, emergency braking, pedestrian detection and braking, & remote start with climate control settings, vehicle locator & auto trunk opening when you have your key fob and your arms are full. Hyundai thinks about the little things too like approach lighting, LED head & taillights, grocery bag hanger in upper trunk, fold flat split rear seat. Rear passenger detector, ventilation and USB outlet, headrests & center armrest with double cup holder to name a few. Great family sedan with rear leg and head room and perfect year around for regions that don't get 5+ months of snow accumulation. We've made it work, but not 1st choice on snow covered roads and any slippery inclines. Keeping the car moving forward has made the biggest difference between stopping in 3"+ of snow and pulling into parking lots unless you are going downhill, then plan ahead pulling out. Love the openness the glass moonroof provides during daylight and the fresh air when it is open or tilted. Much larger than previous generations and a new generation is coming upon our lease end. Surprised resale value, although the '21 Tuscan SEL with convenance pkg we had from last generation was great in the snow and the resale value surprised me, making us repeat Hyundai customers. Each Hyundai model is packed with added value that other brands charge you additionally for. We always wait for the mid-cycle refresh to decide if we're getting current year model of the next calendar year's. The refresh often has additional features and any bugs removed. Only brand we've had 3 of with just 2 recalls. We hope you enjoy your Hyundai Elantra too !… - 5.0
